PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Before sowing, a laminated sprouting process is necessary and takes approximately 30-50 days.
-
Laminated Sprouting: Conduct this process during winter when low temperatures (below 5℃) are prevalent. Soak the seeds in a gibberellin-water mixture for 48 hours. Combine the seeds with damp sand (the sand should clump in your hand but remain powdery) in a 1:3 ratio. Place this mixture in a cold environment for 30-50 days, such as a refrigerator.
-
Sowing: Wet the soil before sowing the seeds. Plant the seeds in the soil, covering them with 1-1.5 cm of soil. The ideal temperature for sowing is 20℃.
-
After Sowing: While frequent watering is not necessary, ensure the soil remains consistently damp (not waterlogged). Germination typically occurs within about 15 days.
-
Flowering Tips:
- Provide ample sunlight, with at least half a day of sunshine daily, ensuring proper ventilation.
- Prune the plant regularly.
- Apply timely fertilization.
- While not necessary to change the flower pot annually, consider transplanting to a larger pot if the plant outgrows its current one.
